Return of Order & Action Park present: Pinact & Min Diesel.
Lo-fi garage urchins Min Diesel and Pinact are releasing a split 7″ single, and are touring the UK in a vehicle with wheels to tell people about it. This is a gig, in Edinburgh, at Opium, at midnight.
Entry is free, but donations are encouraged. Stick a hand in your pocket, chuck a few quid in the bucket.
Min Diesel are a guitar-led three-piece from the north-east of Scotland, who shamelessly plunder the best bits from their favourite late-80s/early-90s punk, lo-fi and math-rock bands’ back-catalogues to create music they’ve taken great amusement from dubbing “min-die rock”. Since their inception, Min Diesel have shared a stage with Errors, Acoustic Ladyland, Joan of Arc, Hot Club de Paris, Sky Larkin and Paws.
Pinact are a two-piece hailing from Glasgow and Aberdeen, and fuse Dinosaur Jr-esque fuzz with the kind of pop melodies that would make Evan Dando eat his own ears. The band have released two EPs and played scores of gigs up and down the country, bursting eardrums as they go.
